PAIR FACE DRUG CHARGES AFTER TRAFFIC STOP EARLY SUNDAY IN GRAVENHURST
GRAVENHURST — A traffic stop early Sunday has led to two people facing drug charges.
Police say that just before 3 a.m., April 24, an officer on general patrol in Gravenhurst conducted a traffic stop on Muskoka Road South to investigate a traffic infraction.
As a result, 50-year-old Mark Cloutier, of Gravenhurst, and 27-year-old Karley Cooper, of Orillia, were each charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance CDSA 4(1).
Cloutier and Cooper are to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge June 6, 2023.
