SNOWMOBILER, 65, SERIOUSLY INJURED SATURDAY MORNING IN MUSKOKA LAKES TOWNSHIP

MILFORD BAY A snowmobiler injured late Saturday morning in Muskoka Lakes Township is in stable condition in a Toronto hospital.

Police says that with assistance from the OPP Central Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team, including collision re-constructionists, they are investigating a collision Feb. 4.

They say that shortly after 11 a.m. the OPP and Muskoka Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to an address near Milford Bay a report of a sled collision involving a single rider.

The 65-year-old operator was transported to South Muskoka Memorial Hospital and was later transported to a Toronto area trauma centre for further treatment.

The driver suffered serious injuries, but police say Monday he is currently in stable condition.
