DRIVER CALLS 911 AND POLICE CHARGE HER WITH IMPAIRED DRIVING THIS MORNING
GRAVENHURST — A driver’s 911 call led to an impaired driving charge here early this morning.
Police say officers responded to a 911 call at 2:38 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, in the area of Old Muskoka Road in Gravenhurst.
The caller said that they needed assistance.
Officers located the caller and entered into an impaired driving investigation.
Subsequently they arrested and charged 58-year-old Jennifer Kachmar, of Gravenhurst, with Impaired Operation CC 320.14(1)(a) and Over 80 CC 320.14(1)(b).
Kachmar is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge Dec. 20, 2022.
As well, her driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded.
