UPDATE: HUNTSVILLE TEEN CHARGED AFTER E-CIGARETTES STOLEN IN STORE BREAK-IN THURSDAY

HUNTSVILLE Following an investigation police have charged a 14-year-old youth after a business was broken into early Thursday.

OPP say that on Sept. 1 they were called to a business on King William Street at 2:30 a.m. where suspect(s) gained entry through a window. Once inside a quantity of e-cigarettes were stolen.

Later that day a Huntsville teen was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Break and enter contrary to section 348 (1)(b) of the Criminal Code.
  • Theft under $5000 contrary top section 334(b) of the Criminal Code.

The youth was released from custody and is to appear Nov. 3 in the Ontario Court of Justice, Muskoka.

The identity of the accused was withheld as it is protected by the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
