MAN’S BODY FOUND THIS MORNING IN FAIRY LAKE, HUNTSVILLE

HUNTSVILLE — The body of a man found this morning in Fairy Lake is believed to be non-suspicious and no foul play is suspected, say police.

They say officers located the deceased in the water just off Crescent Bay Lane in the town of Huntsville.

Crescent Lane is located just a few kilometres west of the downtown, off Hwy. 60

OPP say that on Aug. 11, at 8:42 a.m., they responded to call for a body located in Fairy Lake.

With the help of Huntsville/Lake of firefighters, they found and recovered the body from the water.

Police identified the deceased as Ian Dzigas, age 33, of Huntsville.

The Muskoka Crime Unit and Central Region Forensic Identification Services (FIS) are continuing the investigation in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario.
