PIZZA DELIVERY DRIVER ASSAULTED, CAR STOLEN IN GRAVENHURST WEDNESDAY NIGHT
GRAVENHURST — Police are looking for two suspects who robbed a pizza delivery driver here late last night and stole his car.
They say that on June 29, at 11 p.m., officers responded to 911 calls reporting a robbery at 165 Old Muskoka Rd. in Gravenhurst., a small stretch of street on a hill located between Muskoka Road north and the Muskoka Beach Road.
The victim arrived at an apartment building when two unknown suspects presented an edged weapon, assaulted him and stole his vehicle.
The victim suffered minor injuries and was able to run to a nearby residence and call for help.
The vehicle is a black 2009 Mazda four door car bearing Ontario Marker CWPB246 and had a Dominos Pizza sign attached to the top last seen travelling toward Bethune Drive, Gravenhurst.
Police say both suspects were wearing dark hoodies.
