PARRY SOUND DRIVER CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED, AFTER HEAD-ON CRASH IN HUNTSVILLE
HUNTSVILLE — A Parry Sound driver faces impaired by alcohol driving charges after a head-on collision late yesterday afternoon.
Police and emergency crews were called to Aspdin Road just before 6 p.m. Wednesday to for a report of serious collision in Huntsville.
Two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision.
A woman, 24, was transported by air ambulance to a Sudbury area hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
All other occupants of the vehicles were transported to hospital at Huntsville with non-life threatening injuries.
Following an initial investigation, Andrew Baker, 55, is charged with:
- Operation of a motor vehicle while impaired contrary to section 320.14(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada
- Two counts of operation of a motor vehicle while impaired cause bodily harm contrary to section 320.14 (2) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Baker was released by way of an undertaking to appear June 7, 2022, in the Ontario Court of Justice Muskoka.
