CAPITAL PROTEST CLEANUP IS CONTINUIING; COUPLE ‘PROUD OF CANADIAN TRUCKERS’

SIMCOE-MUSKOKA — John Kirchonpf says he is “so proud of our Canadian truckers” who were arrested in Ottawa today.

He was hoping to join the “Freedom Convoy” this weekend, but that’s unlikely now that it’s almost all but over.

The unvaccinated Gravenhurst resident said yesterday he was thinking of driving his truck to the capital to support them.

This as Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) reports 156 cases Friday. (Public Health Ontario said their were 164 — the same as yesterday). Thursday local public health reported 150 confirmed cases.

They also say that 45 people are in hospital — 4 overnight — with 9 ICU.

There was also one community death in Simcoe, a man 80+ who died Feb. 10.

Kirchonpf said his friends went to Ottawa and on Thursday he said while parked in downtown Gravenhurst that “I’m thinking of going up.”

He didn’t think the protest would be over this weekend.

“The bottom line is our truckers are showing peaceful protest and they are actually demanding their rights according to our Charter of Rights, which have been stolen from us.”

Kirchonpf who says he’s retired but still partly in the medical sales field, and his wife, Monica, a “doctor” and “chiropractor,” both claim vaccines that are “killing people.”

“This is a fraud from beginning to end,” he said. “They are mandating vaccines that are completely experimental. They have no safety data.”

The pair who said they moved up from Toronto also claimed that the prime minister is making money off each shot as a manufacturer shareholder.

He alleged that confiscated guns were stolen from legitimate owners’ homes and planted on protesters.

“They conned us,” Kirchonpf claims, adding the CBC and other media aren’t telling the whole truth.

This as police were still on the street of Canada’s capital late Friday afternoon continuing to clear the streets under federal Emergencies Act orders still being debate in Parliament, which was suspended due to “safety concerns” the government said.

Police said who said officers were assaulted and had their weapons reached for also said children were being used as human shields by protesters. One group that looked like a family was tearfully seen walking

As of 5 p.m. police said 70 protesters had been arrested, while many left peacefully.

Stunning images of police moving against the protesters dominated afternoon TV viewing, with the best live coverage by CTV News’ patient, polite and capably controlled Evan Soloman who was in the centre of the removal often mere feet from the heat of the action bringing compelling — and often cursed — coverage of the developing and volatile story.

Gravenhurst residents John Kirchonpf and his wife Monica say Canadians have been “conned” and that the couple, who say they are in the medical field aren’t vaccinated.
