TRANSPORT DRIVER CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED OPERATIAON AFTER JACK-KNIFING TRUCK
GEORGIAN BAY – Police charged a Caledon trucker with impaired driving yesterday after a single vehicle collision on Hwy. 400.
They say that on Thursday Jan. 27, at 7:17 p.m., officers received a call from a driver who was involved in the accident.
The transport had jack-knifed on Hwy. 400 NB in Georgian Bay Township.
After an investigation, 45-year-old Jaswinder Singh was arrested and charged with Operation While Impaired CC 320.14(1)(b).
Singh is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on February 22, 2022.
His driver’s licence was automatically suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for a week.
