HUNTSVILLE WOMAN LEAVES HOME TO PICK UP $100,000 PRIZE MONEY

HUNTSVILLE A local woman left home for a rich reason.

Ursula Lavalley, of Huntsville, went to Toronto, to pick up a cheque for $100,000.

Lavalley, 77, won the top prize in a government INSTANT HOLIDAY MAGIC game, No. 2284.

A regular lottery player, this is her first big win.

“I felt shaky and very happy!” she told lottery official while picking up her prize at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.

She says in an OLG release that she plans to invest her winnings.

OLG is booking in-person prize claim appointments at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto only for those claims that require a face-to-face interview. Customers with prizes over $50,000 are asked to call 1-800-387-0098 to discuss available prize claim options. Prize claims up to $49,999.90 should continue to be submitted by mail.
