FAMILY CONCERNED FOR MISSING PORT SYDNEY MAN

PORT SYDNEY — Police are searching for a missing person and are asking for the public’s assistance.

Fred Herensberger, 53, was last seen Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021, at 4:20 p.m. in Port Sydney.

He was walking on West Point Sands Road toward Mary Lake.

Herensberger was wearing a kaki-coloured jacket and carrying a white/yellowish canoe.

He is described as having a slim build, about 5-foot-6 tall, with a bald head.

Police and the family are concerned for his well-being.
