RASH OF SUMMER VANDALISMS PLAGUING GEORGIAN BAY TOWNSHIP

GEORGIAN BAY A continuing rash of acts of vandalism here this summer has police on the hunt for culprits behind the damage to vehicles and property.

They are investigating “mischiefs” they say continue to occur at Go Home Lake Road and Minors Bay Road in Georgian Bay Township.

Since May 2021 there has been an increase of damage done to town property as well as vehicles, such as graffiti and slashed tires.

The OPP and the township are taking this situation seriously and say they will be increasing police presence in the target areas.

Tires have been slashed around the Go Home Lake and Minors Bay Road area in a rash of incidents this summer since May.
