OPSEU represents 44 full-time and temporary staff working in a variety of operational, recreational, programming, clerical, administrative and technical positions.

The new agreement replaces one that expired May 31.

The new CBA extends from June 1 to May 31, 2025.

The tentative settlement was reached July 28 and was ratified by the union Aug.

Deputy mayor Rick Maloney, a member of the negotiating committee, said “the new agreement met the bargaining mandate by achieving benefit cost containment and fair wage adjustments.”
