SING ALONG ‘WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM YOUR FRIENDS’ AT TRINITY UNITED
Mark Clairmont | MuskokaTODAY.com
GRAVENHURST — It’s here, it’s fun and it’s uplifting in these troubling times.
A video from the folks at Trinity United Church offers a message of hope we can all use.
Minister of music The Real Dan McCoy released the tribute today to volunteers — the lesser heralded of the essential workers.
Until now, that is.
The four-minute clip to the Beatles tune “Getting by with a little help from our friends” celebrates people helping people in the church and around town.
It was made during the past year and finally edited this week.
See the original MuskokaTODAY.com story about the making of the video here.
And these everyday people — amateur actors and singers — belt it out with vigour.
Even off key they still sound sincere — if not downright good.
Enjoy the YouTube moment below and feel free to sing along.
We bet you will.
