10 LATE MUSKOKA CASES REPORTED FROM YESTERDAY

SIMCOE-MUSKOKA — The health unit late last night reported 10 new Muskoka COVID cases and Public Health Ontario said this morning Simcoe-Muskoka had 69 cases Thursday.

Six of yesterday’s Muskoka cases were in Bracebridge, 2 in Gravenhurst and 2 in Huntsville.

And a Lake of Bays case was moved to another health unit.

The latest updated cases were all reported Wednesday and include:

Bracebridge female, 0-17, under investigation, first episode April 18

Bracebridge female, 0-17, under investigation, first episode April 19

Bracebridge male, 0-17, under investigation, first episode April 19

Bracebridge man, 18-34, under investigation, first episode April 19

Bracebridge man, 35-44, under investigation, first episode April 19

Bracebridge man, 45-64, under investigation, first episode April 19

Gravenhurst man, 45-64, close contact, first episode April 19

Gravenhurst man, 65-79, close contact, first episode April 14

Huntsville woman, 35-64, under investigation, first episode April 19

Huntsville man, 45-64, under investigation, first episode April 19

Elsewhere Thursday, Ontario is reporting a big drop of 3,682 cases, but 40 deaths.

Yesterday the province had 4,212 cases and 32 deaths.

Toronto reported 1,131 cases (down from 1,249), York was up to 436 (386) and Peel was down to 507 (771).

North Bay-Parry Sound had 3 cases today after 2 days of zero cases.

Quebec is reporting 1,248 cases and 7 deaths.

New numbers for Thursday expected from the health unit this afternoon.

Public Health Ontario reports 69 cases for Simcoe-Muskoka Thursday.
