CELEBRATING LOCAL ‘SUCCESSES’ ON INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

MUSKOKA — Internatonal Women’s Day today is being celebrated individually and collectively here including a Zoom call today.

Local chambers of commerce are hosting ‘Fostering Resilience and Sharing Secrets of Success, a three-hour panel event to highlight women’s achievements and leading roles in business and life.

It’s on from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The featured speaker is Eleanor McMahon, a former minister of tourism, culture and sport.

She will be joined by Lindsay Leney CEO of Collapsing Time, Jacinta Cowan owner of the Bala Falls Pub and Lindsay McCann, owner of Summit Mortgages.
