A HILL, A SLEIGH AND A WHOLE LOT OF FUN, LAUGHTER

GRAVENHURST — Classes may be out for another week, but the kiddy hill behind the Gravenhurst Public School is still filled with shrieking sounds of the laughter of children slipping and sliding, climbing and rolling down the little bank.

And into the waiting arms of parents who watch over the winter antics — and occasionally daring to join in the frolicking family fun.

All spread safely apart for the most part or their cherubic faces covered with faux-furred lining or ski masks.

With not a care in the world post Christmas.

Colourful Krazy Carpets, plastic flying saucers and a few tricycles on skis dot the hill.

Winter simply at its best.
