U-HAUL TRUCK HITS TREE, 3 MUSKOKA MEN TAKEN TO HOSPITALS
BRACEBRIDGE — Two Muskoka men were airlifted to Toronto with life-altering injuries this afternoon after truck hit a tree on Manitoba Street near High Falls Road.
A third local man remains in hospital.
Police are investigating the factors that influenced this collision including impaired driving.
They say that on Dec. 8, at 3:15 p.m., witnesses called in a 911 and emergency services responded to the single vehicle collision. Witnesses reported that a U-Haul vehicle had left the road.
The driver and two passengers were transported to hospital, one of them extricated by the fire department.
The OPP Technical Collision Investigation team was on scene and Manitoba Street between High Falls road and Old Falkenburg road was closed for the investigation.
