SINGLE-VEHICLE ACCIDENT LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGE EARLY TODAY

GEORGIAN BAY A driver in an early morning accident today survived without injury.

Provincial police from Bracebridge say that on Dec. 9, at 12:35 a.m., officers responded to a public report of a single vehicle collision on Twelve Mile Bay Road in Georgian Bay Township.

Police arrived and after a investigating charged 25-year-old Emma-Louise Middlebrooks, of Moose Deer Point First Nation with Impaired Operation CC 320.14(1)(a) and Over 80 CC 320.14(1)(b).

Middlebrooks is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on Jan. 5, 2021.

An accident today led to an impaired driving charge against a Moose Deer Point First Nation resident.
