CASTLE CARVER COMES UP WITH COOL ICE SCULPTURE
GRAVENHURST – The king of the castle-making is Andrey Petrov.
The ice sculptor we told you about on Boxing Day has crafted his annual winter masterpiece in his front yard.
Using a blue box, some help from his son Nikolas and lots of talent and sweat equity, he carved out a couple of castles on either side of his driveway on Hotchkiss Street by the elementary and high schools.
One is a slide for his son and the other is complete with red flags fluttering from twin towers.
They look great – even if the white snow makes them hard to get a light photo that does them justice.
But go see for yourself and enjoy the drive-by.

WOW! That’s great. Let’s hope some idiot doesn’t destroy it.
