CHECK HEATING SYSTEM, ‘ESPECIALLY IF YOU BURN WITHWOOD’

GRAVENHURST — With Fire Prevention Week starting Monday, local firefighters everywhere will be working overtime.

Add that to their usual calls for service and they will be extra busy Oct. 4-11.

A look at last month’s numbers shows why.

In a tweet today, Oct. 1, they offer this reminder: “As the temperatures drop, many turn to supplemental heating.

“Its a good time to have your heating system checked by an expert, especially if you burn with wood.”
