McDONALD’S GRAVENHURST CLOSED, EMPLOYEE TESTS COVID-19
GRAVENHURST — A workplace outbreak of COVID-19 has closed the McDonald’s here.
The company suspended operations Friday after an employee reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus.
They say they are doing a thorough cleansing of the restaurant and are working with the health unit to learn more and about when they will re-open.
As of Saturday morning, the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit had not reported the positive test among its list of confirmed cases.

I have purchased food at this location several times and have had to remind workers handing me food to wear gloves. On one occasion the take out window employee handed me an ice cream cone with gloves but I watched as she was handed the item by an employee not wearing gloves. This location routinely does not follow safety precautions.
