VEHICLE STOLEN IN BRACEBRIDGE FOUND IN GRAVENHURST
GRAVENHURT — A teen faces an auto theft charge after a vehicle reported stolen in Bracebridge yesterday morning was found in Gravenhurst.
Police say that on Sunday Aug. 16, just before 6 a.m., the OPP received a complaint about the vehicle being stolen from an address on Wellington Court in Bracebridge.
With the assistance of a member of the public, police say the vehicle was located and recovered at an address on Fernwood Drive in Gravenhurst.
As a result, 19-year-old Sheldon Burry, of Bracebridge, is charged with Theft of Motor Vehicle CC 333.1, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 CC 355(b) and Failure to Comply with Undertaking CC 145(4)(a).
He is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge Nov. 3.
