‘PANDEMIC PAUSE’: KODAK MOMENTS
Mark Clairmont | MuskokaTODAY.com
GRAVENHURST — The “pandemic pause” — as I like to call it — has produced some evocative images that tug at your heart while offering praise and optimism amid the new norm.
From a sign at the Scout Hall where they “hope” to back in September; to a pickup truck with a mask handily hanging from a mirror; to letters and balloons thanking essential workers, this is our life to remember right now.
Social distancing at home, a sixth birthday visit with grandma, Mother’s Day lineups half a block long and proudly flying the flag — in your face C-19.
We’re coping and still staying safe.
Here’s hoping we keeping it that way.
