WOMAN WORRIED ‘PEOPLE WON’T LISTEN TO WARNINGS’

Mark Clairmont | MuskokaTODAY.com

GRAVENHURST — A young woman worried people aren’t taking COVID-19 seriously enough has taken safety measures into her own hands.

Taylor — who preferred not to give her last name — was out for quick walk today on Muskoka Road in Gravenhurst shopping for “essentials.”

She said “I’m concerned people won’t listen to the warnings,” so she is practising what she preaches.

And for “prevention reasons” she wore a simple colourful mask — “to be safe.”

“And because I get sick easily.”

Taylor said she was walking uptown, near Winewood Avenue Tuesday, March 25, because she doesn’t have a car and “I need to get there and back home as fast as I can.”

Hear and heed her “warning” below, in TODAY.com’s video clip of the day.

“Be safe” and listen to the warnings, says Taylor in a video interview Tuesday afternoon.

Taylor wants people to heed her “warning” to protect themselves against the coronavirus “to be safe.”
