TRILLIUM SCHOOL BOARD Q&A ON COVID CLOSURES

Mark Clairmont | MuskokaTODAY.com

MUSKOKA — School’s out now for three weeks — a week of March break and two addition weeks due to the Coronavirus.

And that means no teaching or administrative staff will be in the school — and all community use has been cancelled until at least April 6.

This week the province ordered all publicly-funded schools in Ontario to remain closed from March 14 through to April 5.

This means that Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) schools and buildings will be closed to staff and students for two additional weeks following the March Break.

The board says TLDSB schools and buildings will reopen to staff and students on April 6.

Thye have posted a number of questions and answers related to the closure on tldsb.ca/covid19/. Please check this web page for any additional COVID-19 updates.

Publicly-funded schools in Ontario are now closed until at least April 6, meaning no staff will be on site and no community access will take place.
