SUNSHINE LISTS REVEAL TOP EARNERS

MUSKOKA — Public sector salaries for various government employees were released Friday by the province of Ontario.

They provide disclosures for all sectors and seconded employees from last year.

The list provides information on all public sector employees who were paid $100,000 or more in 2019 and are subject to the Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act.

At Muskoka’s three largest towns, 28 people are listed under municipal services.

• Gravenhurst CAO tops out the lists with the highest salary at $201,665.
• Bracebridge’s CAO had a salary of $166,596.
• Huntsville CAO Denise Corry was paid a salary of $159,674.
• District of Muskoka CAO Michael Duben’s salary was $221,169.

Information for the three surrounding Muskoka townships was less clear, as it was for District of Muskoka employees.

The provincial information also includes school teachers and trustees other tax-supported workers.
