SOCIAL-DISTANCING IS NO JOKE IN LINE-UPS
Keep your distance.
Sounds simple, but a lot of people just aren’t getting it.
Despite repeated daily warnings from health officials across the country, around the world and even specific advice from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, not everyone is getting the message about social-distancing to combat COVID-19.
Or at least they’re not heeding it. It’s not a joke.
In fact, many tilt their heads in bemused wonder when confronted.
Even some cashiers don’t seem to care — letting customers cram together in lineups, like the one at Giant Tiger today.
Still, most are on board with the two-metre distance requirement.
That’s the mininum space you need should someone sneeze in any direction.
Officials say feel free to remind your friends and strangers around you of your unease at close contact.
That is if you even have to stray from self-isolation or you must go to work.
It goes along with warnings to wash your hands.

“even cashiers don’t seem to care”….HOW DARE YOU! We are not the ones you should blame – blame the idiots who are stockpiling supplies, including hundreds of dollars worth of toilet paper that they don’t need. Blame the ones who consider us “non-human” therefore, it’s okay to jam pack the store and cough all over the cashier who can’t get away! Change your wording and do be such an insensitive jerk!
