LOTS TO PRAY FOR AT WORLD DAY OF PRAYER FRIDAY AT ST. PAUL’S

 aGRAVENHRST – Your prayers may be answered tomorrow.

Lord knows there’s plenty to pray for in the world today.

This year’s featured country is Zimbabwe.

Members of the local faith communities will be uniting here n Gravenhurst Friday, March 6, for the annual World Day of Prayer, at 1 p.m.

The multi-denominational peace gathering will be hosted this year at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church by Father John Albao, who recently returned from a month’s visit to his homeland in the Philippines.

Several other clergy and ministerial leaders from churches will also welcome the public, along with the their congregational flock to the free prayer meeting and social afterwards.

It is part of an Inter-Church Council of Canada event.

The World Day of Prayer service is open to the public and all who want to pray for the world and world events.
