UPDATE: CASINO RAMA REOPENS AFTER BOMB THREAT TODAY

 RAMA — Gamblers are back at the tables and machines in Casino Rama as of 6 p.m. Wednesday.

An anonymous bomb threat to OPP in Orillia at 2 p.m. today forced Casino Rama to evacuate the casino early Wednesday afternoon.

A spokesperson said just now that they are back in business “as if nothing happened,” as they continue to work with police to further investigate the incident this afternoon.

According to casino officials, they received a call and customers and staff were told to leave.

The entire facility and property were evacuated, according to their social media accounts.

Casnino officials tweeted that the OPP are on site and working with Rama First Nations police.
