GRAVENHURST — A nice tradition continued at the Remembrance Day service today.
A large number of community members joined the procession from the legion uptown to the cenotaph at the Opera House.
Dozens of people young and old unaffiliated with any group organization walked behind the Royal Canadian Legion colour guard, pipe and drums and community groups like council, the girl guides, boy scouts, firefighters and paramedics.
It was a quick 20-minute hike up and back to lay a wreath.
But it was a pleasant sight to see the growing numbers each year as the parade extended a whole block from start to finish.
