FORWELLS DONATE $25,000 TO ROTARY TO HELP STUDENTS

GRAVENHURST — Six students will be heading back to university with a little financial reassurance thanks to Tim and Kim Forwell.

The Gravenhurst cottagers donated $25,000 to the Gravenhurst Rotary Bursary Fund that will help Olivia Kellam, McKenna Manser, Lianne Brandt, Nicole Brandt, Claudia Spengler and  continue their post-secondary studies with the dedicated funding between them.

They were all at Monday’s club meeting, where Rotarian Ken Little introduced the young women and man, who spoke briefly about what they are studying.

They also received certificates from the Forwells and chatted with them following the meeting.
