LIBRARY GREAT PLACE FOR FREE SUMMER VACATION

GRAVENHURST — June 27 school ends and summer vacation begins for kids.

So, what to do then?

There’s lots of choices for kids and parents.

The Gravenhurst Public Library is a great choice.

They are excited for another fun summer full of free activities for children running July 2 to August 29.

The library calendar is busy this summer, with free stuff for kids and their families to do.

Their goal is to provide a safe environment where children can learn, play, explore and create.

The fun kicks off on Tuesday July 2nd, at the Lions Pavilion at the Muskoka Wharf with a ventriloquist at 11 a.m.

“We’re very excited for the summer to begin,” said Hannah Tiffin, summer reading program coordinator.

“We have a lot of new programs this year as well as some old favourites.  We’re so pleased to have Tim Holland, a stunt ventriloquist help us kick off our summer programming.”

This summer you’ll find something for everyone including; art events, a library survivor activity, book yoga and makerspace just to name a few.

The Library will also be participating every Wednesday at the Gravenhurst Farmers’ Market, drop by say hello and learn more about the activities the library is offering.

The cost of summer programs is absolutely free, but registration is required.
