CLEMENT TOURS FLOODED TOWNS, OFFERS ASSISTANCE
BRACEBRIDGE-HUNTSVILLE — MP Tony Clement toured the flooded towns of Bracebride and Huntsville Friday afternoon to assess the impact of water levels, as rain continued and it was forecasted to last until late in the day.

He said in a release that he is monitoring the situation, as the towns affected by the most devastating flooding since 2013, have each declared state of emergency this week.
The independent MP said he remains in constant communication with mayors Graydon Smith and Scott Aitchison, respectively in Bracebridge and Huntsville, to assess the needs of constituents.
And to assist with any emergencies they might have regarding federal programs, such as employment insurance, new documents, social insurance number, access to information or any guaranteed income supplement, etc.
“I am standing with all of my constituents who are facing difficult situations resulting from the damages of the flooding.
“This is not an easy situation and my staff is ready to help with any need they might have to get back to a normal life as soon as possible,” said Clement in the release.
