ARMED ROBBERY, ASSAULT INVESTIGATION CONTINUES
HUNTSVILLE — A police investigation into an overnight armed robbery and assault at a business here continues.
Provincial police continue to look for witnesses after arresting and charging three GTA residents, two men and a woman, early last Friday.
They say that on March 15, 2019, at 1:20 a.m., OPP responded to report of an armed robbery at a business on King Willam Street in Huntsville.
Police say two suspects entered the business brandishing weapons.
The employee was assaulted by the two suspects before they fled the scene.
The victim was transported to hospital by Muskoka EMS to receive treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
Police officers located and arrested the three involved suspects a short time later.
The Muskoka Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Services (FIS), Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine Unit and the Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) assisted in the investigation.
- Tatum Ogden, 32, of Toronto. He is charged with:
Possession of Imitation Weapon for Dangerous Purpose – Sec 88 CC;
Robbery Using a Firearm Sec 344(1)(a.1) CC;
Assault Cause Bodily Harm – Sec 267(b) CC;
Possession Schedule I substance – Cocaine – Sec 4(1) CDSA;
Obstruct Peace Officer – Sec 129 (a) CC;
Failing to Comply with Recognizance X2 – Sec 145(3) CC
- Jordan Morrow, 28, of Toronto, who is charged with:
Possession of Imitation Weapon for Dangerous Purpose – Sec 88 CC;
Robbery Using a Firearm Sec 344(1)(a.1) CC;
Assault Cause Bodily Harm – Sec 267(b) CC;
Fail to Comply with Probation Order Sec 733.1(1) CC
- And Sukhpreet Singh, 24, of Brampton. She is charged with:
Possession of Imitation Weapon for Dangerous Purpose – Sec 88 CC;
Robbery Using a Firearm – Sec 344(1)(a.1) CC
All three accused were held in custody for a bail hearing scheduled before the Ontario Court of Justice on Sunday March 17.
