FENELON FALLS A missing who police thought man may be in the Algonquin Park area, has been found.

Chris Thompson is short with a stocky build.

The Ontario Provincial Police thanks those who helped locate him.

They had said they were searching for a 35 year old male and is asking for the publics’ assistance in locating him.

On September 11, 2018 officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the OPP attended the Fenelon Falls area in response to a request for assistance in locating Christopher Thompson.

He is described as follows:

5-foot-5 inches tall

Stocky build

Shaved head; moustache/goatee

Owl tattoo on upper left arm

And purple square tattoo on calf

He was last observed wearing a grey t-shirt with multi-coloured, but predominantly yellow shorts.

He may be operating a Mazda Tribute, grey in colour, with Ontario licence plate #CFJF 068, possibly transporting a green canoe.

He is known to attend the Algonquin Park area.

Anyone with information related to the whereabouts of him is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Thompson was driving a Mazda Tribute and may have had a green canoe on top.
