Clement unlikely to join any new Bernier conservative party
OTTAWA – Don’t expect Tony Clement to jump on board Maxime Bernier’s new conservative party.

The Parry Sound-Muskoka MP, no newcomer to new parties (see the Alliance Party), is also not a supporter of Bernier, who left the Consverative Party this afternoon.
Clement, who once supported Bernier in the last Conservative leadership race, has been tweeted up a storm against his old caucus colleague.
Clement, who has been accused in the conservative press (Toronto Sun) as tilting more to the centre left of late, says Bernier is wrong in his views in opposition to more open borders.
