Muskoka Concert Band at Bracebridge Bandshell Thursday

BRACEBRIDGE — Neil Barlow and the Muskoka Concert Band pick up the baton Thursday night where they left it last week on the Dwight Beach.

The second in a series of five evening performances takes place at the Bracebridge Bandshell, at 7 p.m., on the main street.

The annual summer concerts, by the 40-piece brass and wind band, continue under cover, next to the Norwood Theatre where the musicians will appropriately play movie theme music, show tunes, pop charts, big band and classical pieces.

Their next stop is on the Dock at Port Sydney, July 18 (rain date July 19).

The following July 25, they are on the Dock at Huntsville.

They wrap up in Orillia at the Aquatheatre in Couchiching Park Aug. 5, where if rain they will play in the Opera House downtown.
