Help Gravenhurst Lions fly Canadian flags for only $50
GRAVENHURST — Canada’s 150 may be over in a few weeks, but you can still show your patriotism here this summer – thanks to a pride of local Lions with Canadian pride.
The Gravenhurst Lions Club’s annual program of installing Canadian flags around town will occur in just a few weeks.
“We are looking for sponsors to assist us with this project,” says a club release.
Any donation will be appreciated, but a sponsorship of $50 or more will be recognized:
On their web page;
On social media (see MuskokaTODAY.com)
On a sign board at events they conduct around town;
And in a thank-you published in the local media.
Donations can be made by e-transfer from your bank to [email protected] with “flag” as the security word.
Or, a cheque can be mailed to the Lions Club of Gravenhurst, PO Box 582, Gravenhurst, ON. P1P 1T9
Funds will be used to purchase flags and poles and replace those lost due to vandalism. Any additional funds raised will be returned to the community via service projects.
The Gravenhurst Lions Club was chartered in 1946 and meets the first and third Tuesdays from September to June at the Frosty Pint Pub, Ferguson Road.
