GHS ‘Putnam County Spelling Bee’ June 15-16

GRAVENHURST — It’s graduation time and a chance to sell what you spell.

“The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” tells the funny behind the scene ad-lib story of the characters and the presenters.

This June, Gravenhurst High School proudly presents The 25th Annual Putnam

County Spelling Bee.

“Spelling Bee is a semi-improvised comedy musical about a group of misfit

students who come to compete in (you guessed it) a spelling bee, as well

as the misfit adults who run the show,” says drama teacher Earl Sacrey.

He says “it’s about competition, meeting friends, and finding a place where you shine.”

The two public shows are Friday, June 15th at 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 16

at 2 p.m., at GHS.

Tickets are available at the door for $10 or pay-what-you-can.

Time for a photo-op with all the “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee contestants.”
Students get to test their dramatic skills in this end-of-school-year production June 15-16.
