DEATH NOTICE: Rhoda Wiser, 95, April 27, 2018

Rhoda Adelphia (nee Robins) Wiser died peacefully in her 96th year on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Golden Plough Lodge in Cobourg, with family by her side.

Rhoda Wiser, 95, worked at Rubberset for over 30 years.

She was the last member of the pioneer Robins family who farmed in Draper Township, Bracebridge, Muskoka, Ontario.

Rhoda was born on Feb. 10, 1923, lived in Germania, worked in Toronto in her youth, then returned to marry Lloyd Herbert Wiser. They lived Gravenhurst until 2013, at which time she moved to Coburg.

Rhoda was retired from Rubberset, after more than 30 years of service.

She is survived by nieces and nephews: Sherry (Rick) Howe, Richard, Gregory, Michael; Murray (Dee) Robins, Trevor, Kevin, Maggie; Tom (Janet) Robins, David, Jennifer; Bernice Sevret; Shirley Allen; Muriel Terry; John and Allan Robins.

She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd in 1966; son Rolland in 1993 and her siblings: George, Ethel, William, Joseph, Mervin, Clarence, David and Olive.

Cremation taken place and a memorial service will be held in Gravenhurst at a later date.
