Wanted man may be back in Barrie

OTTAWA – City police and the OPP in Barrie are keeping their eyes open for a wanted man.

James Houle is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
The province’s Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as result of being Unlawfully at Large.
James Houle is described as an Caucasian male, 39 years of age, 6-foot-2″ (188 cms), 194 lbs (89kgs). He has a tattoo on his left shoulder of a tiger and Chinese lettering on his right shoulder and a snake tattoo on his left forearm.
Houle is serving a three (3) year and one (1) month sentence for Break and Enter x 4 Theft Over $5000 x4,, Fail to Comply with an Undertaking, Fail to Comply with Probation Order, Possess Stolen Credit Card, Possess a Schedule I Substance x 2, Fraud Over $5000 and Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000.
The offender is known to frequent the Ottawa, Barrie and Thunder Bay areas.
